Things For Which I’m Thankful (Day 3)
3) My cousins. They have always been around since the day I was born to help me out. They’re my best friends and they’re always there for me. I’m so proud of all of them! They are all accomplishing so many goals that I don’t think I’ll ever catch up! Jenny, the oldest, got her bachelor’s from Indiana University and her master’s from Temple, and she married her now-husband Brad in July 2006 and had her first daughter, Katie, in August of 2007. They own their own home just outside of Dallas, TX. My next oldest, Tara, has a fabulous job that she loves! She lives in Nicholasville, KY and is like my sister! My next, Becca, just finished up culinary school to become a pastry chef, and she’s currently working on her externship to graduate pretty soon. She lives in Austin, TX and loves it there.
I miss them all terribly, but I know they are happy. Hopefully I will get to where my heart wants to go, someday, like they did. They’re my heroes!
